Empathize
Premise
The idea of working out together in a sport’s club originated in 1836 –
unfortunately a lot of sport’s clubs websites look almost as antiquated.
Our solution is to develop an application, which suppprts people in finding
a sport’s club near them, read up on possible kind of sports and easily get in
contact with fitting sport’s clubs.
- Techniques
- Market research
- Analyzing demand using surveys via google forms

Define
Target group
Primary:
Athletic people, who are interested in joining a sport’s club near them.
Secondary:
Sport’s clubs looking to further their reach to increase the number of memberships.
Personas
We established three personas:
— Person, who is looking for a sport’s club for themselves
— Parent, who is looking for a sport and matching sport’s club for their child, wanting to compare them.
— Sport’s club manager/coach who is looking to expand his club’s reach online to gain more members

- Techniques
- User testing with small groups
- Create survey with google forms
- Evaluation of survey and conclusion
Conclusion
- structure, usability and navigation were coherent for most testers
- Use of color and hierarchies of content was critizised for being too random
Next steps
- Put missing navigation functions in place
- Revise use of colors, harmonize design
- Rework hierarchy
